Clients are on their phones 24/7 too, so when they email with a problem in the middle of the night, you see that email and it's soooo hard to ignore it until the morning! So then you end up prioritizing work or planning for work and put yourself on the back burner. One of these nights turns into weeks, then months of neglecting your right to self care whether that be working out, eating healthy, hygiene, or taking a break. Trust me, I've been there. I felt like I didn't deserve a break because I didn't earn it because I wasn't productive enough. Guess who set those extremely intense standards? Me!
